In a significant milestone for the packaging industry, the Asian Packaging Federation (APF) has officially announced its endorsement of the highly anticipated F&B Packtech Expo 2025. The formalization of this partnership was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in November 2024. APF President, Comm. Gacer, VP for Sales Ms. Marielen Gloria, and AVP for MarComm Ms. Ghe Amores, came together to seal the collaboration.
The Asian Packaging Federation, established in 1967 in Tokyo, Japan, is a non-profit organization that has long played a pivotal role in uniting the packaging interests of various industries and trade bodies across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. With a vision of enhancing cross-country cooperation, the Asian Packaging Federation focuses on a wide array of topics such as training and education, packaging development, environmental sustainability, and relevant laws and regulations.
Comm. Joseph Ross Jocson expressed his enthusiasm about the endorsement, highlighting the importance of fostering innovation and collaboration within the packaging industry. “This partnership with F&B PackTech Expo 2025 aligns perfectly with APF‘s mission to support and promote sustainable and forward-thinking solutions in packaging,” he said. “The expo will serve as a prime platform for professionals across the food and beverage sector to connect, learn, and advance packaging technologies.”
As a global body representing diverse stakeholders within the packaging community, the APF‘s involvement in F&B PackTech Expo 2025 will undoubtedly raise the profile of the event, ensuring its prominence within the international packaging and food industries. This collaboration will also create an avenue for APF to strengthen its connections with packaging organizations and professionals across the Asia-Pacific region.
The event, scheduled for July 17 to 19, 2025 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila Philippines will serve as an exhibition, seminars and talks highlighting the latest in packaging technology, solutions, and innovations tailored to the food and beverage industry. Attendees can expect to see cutting-edge developments in sustainable packaging, new technologies, and environmental practices, all aimed at addressing the evolving demands of the sector.
With the APF‘s endorsement, F&B PackTech Expo 2025 gains not only credibility but also access to a vast network of professionals, experts, and innovators in the packaging field. This partnership emphasizes the global shift towards sustainability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance, which are increasingly critical in packaging decisions, especially in the food and beverage industry.
The APF Secretariat, currently based in Thailand, rotates among its member countries and works continuously to facilitate collaboration and the exchange of knowledge in the packaging sector. The endorsement of F&B PackTech Expo 2025 further cements Thailand’s growing role in the global packaging conversation.
This collaboration promises to elevate the F&B PackTech Expo 2025 to new heights, ensuring a vibrant platform for industry leaders to engage with the latest trends and technologies that will shape the future of packaging.
